Gathering for didge players and for anyone interested to listen and
learn something more about this fascinating musical instrument
of the Australian Aboriginal People.
The gathering will take place at the farm, "Ai Vecchi Ippocastani" in the small village of Joannis, on the outskirts of Aiello di Friuli. Two workshops will be offered. On Saturday afternoon with Dubravko Lapaine on advanced playing techniques and on Sunday morning by Martin O'Loughlin on the Opendidge. More Information on Workshops. It will be possible also to simply meet other didge players, to play and to listen. From late afternoon (17:00) to late evening there will be a series of performances. If you would like to play please contact the organisers so that the program can be finalised - every player will have a maximum of 20 minutes of stage time. Dinner will be buffet style. Late in the evening when we need to unplug the power the concert and jam sessions will continue into the night. After a few kilometres turn to the left to enter the small town of Strassoldo. After another 500 metres turn left following the indication for Joannis and Aiello di Friuli. Just as you enter Joannis immediately on the left is the entrance to the farm "Ai Vecchi Ippocastani". There will be a cleared zone set aside for camping. |

didgeridoo/yidaki strumento musicale degli Aborigine dal Nord Australia.
Tutto si svolgera' alla Fattoria "Ai Vecchi Ippocastani" a Joannis, frazione di Aiello di Friuli. Durante il pomeriggio di Sabato ci sara' un workshop su tecniche avanzate con Dubravko Lapaine e poi domenica mattina con Martin O'Loughlin sull'opendidge. Piu' informazione sui workshops. Dal tardi pomeriggio in poi ci sara' una seria di concerti. Se volete suonare contattate per favore gli organizzatori - ogni suonatore avra' a diposizione 20 minuti. Cena sara' stile buffet. Tarda serata, quando dobbiamo staccare il corrente si continuera' con un jam session improvisata. Dopo qualche kilometro girate a sinistra seguendo il segnale che indica il paese di Strassoldo. Entrando dopo 500 metri andate a sinistra, passate un piccolo ponte, in direzione Joannis, Aiello di Friuli. All'entrata di Joannis la fattoria sulla destra e' "Ai Vecchi Ippocastani". |
